SUNDAY MORNING DANCE
Time & Location
About the Event
'Dance is my sanctuary' - Daniel 45yr old Maori.
I wanna break that down a bit.
We dance for many different reasons, to express, to release, to feel good, to find joy, to belong, to feel, to hide, to understand...and I could just continue.
We all know when we move our body something happens, hormones are released, emotions are present, our soul body becomes accessible like never before. To a point where we become fully present in the moment.
Existing in time as a creative soul - with killer dance moves!
When our dance practice in life becomes an act of self-love, of self-compassion, our cup can be full.
For you and for others.
When we turn up to our human selves each week thru dance, to say,
hey, I matter, and this is what is going on for me inside.
This is what it can look like this on the outside using movement and creativity
We get to a place were sweating the small stuff doesn't even come in to play, because we are resourced from the dancefloor.
Were having a spiritual practice becomes as easy as tuning in to your favourite song
We realise that this dance of life can be rewarding in more ways that we thought possible.
We realise that this dance floor is my sanctuary from the doing, to being.
From outside influence to inside influence
We realise that your body has infinite wisdom and in turning up each week to dance,
gives that body full permission to korero mai korero atu!
Yes conscious movement is a superpower!
Yes it is a form of prayer,
Yes it is fun and creative,
Yes it is awkward and brave.
YES IT WILL TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE!
You will fit in. EVERY BODY fits it.
EVERY BODY finds their place with their dance in this circle.
This movement space will become your sanctuary, it will become a place where you can express what is relevant to you.
Let's begin together. Let make 2021 a year of RADICAL SELF LOVE!!
Class is $20 on the door.
If money is tight and you still would like to dance, please let me know there are always options.
If you have any questions that I could answer for you please reach out.
At first self-conscious, I dance until my sweat becomes a river, that takes me to my soul.
Eyes closed, I disappear into the waves, and all that’s left is rhythm. Laughter ripples through my body.
Joy arises, past walls that were there just moments before.
Moving until my sweat erodes those walls
that surrounds my heart.
Beyond those walls, is life, real life.

Open Floor with Kaiakindness creates a brave space, an indigenized space,
an empowering space for all who chose to turn up.
Here we are all practicing our radical self-responsibility, supported by a community that
LOVES TO DANCE.
What better way to be EMBODIED!
