ART IN MOTION | OPEN CLASS

Creativity is the greatest rebellion in existence. 

For these drop in classes, the kaupapa | plan of what I bring to the classes will change depending on who arrives to the space and what kind of spell we wish to weave together. 

we have space to move | we have time to create | we will express what is alive for us. 

Art in motion is a process, not an end result.

Yes, you will create something ( if that feels right for you to do) just like in the dance, we move, it moves. 

1.5hours follow our creative life force.

What to expect.

I will weave together a soundscape, Open Floor curriculum, 

and something from my kete to bring us into our creative flow and dance. 

There will be space for writing, dancing, lying on the floor, doing the dishes - where ever the mauri takes you!

I will not be teaching you how to draw or giving lessons on how to paint. 

Please come prepared with creative materials. 

They can be anything that you gather from random items to coloured pastels > magazines to your knitting. 

Yes, you can work on your existing projects. Yes, you can just come and dance!
