COMM.UNITY DANCE - wholly as we are!

That's right,  we begin this particular Wānanga with a dance and a place to connect with new and old dance floor friends.

The opening circle will have us all gathering at 7pm 

(yes you can keep wearing togs if you need to swim)

and then we dance! 

Not to lose ourselves, but to find ourselves, supported in the music, 

surrounded by the best of the best humans and dancing for all that is and all that could be.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME!! so yes that means you also <3

This community dance opens our 'THIS IS NOT A DRESS REHERSAL' Wānanga, so this is the theme of this dance.

It is an Open Floor dance floor, so we will be given direction, 

and maybe even space to write as well.

The kaupapa as always is to keep the DMs (deep and meaningful)l moments in the movement

so if you want to dive in with words, take it off the floor and go for a swim together,

then come back on the floor and dance for it all again and again.

Consent is our practice and our way of life > please move with deep respect for all beings in and around this space we create.

So yeah, we gather together in a form of unity to begin something beautiful.
