About the Event
A seven-week embodied inquiry into presence,
radical adaptability, in relationship with Atua Wāhine
Atua wāhine are ancestral Māori female deities or cosmological presences who embody forces of nature, deep emotion, transformation, and whakapapa. They are not simply mythical figures, but living relational presences connected to whenua, wairua, and our collective memory.
Each atua wāhine holds unique wisdom.
In this offering, we meet them not as themes to study, but as companions to move with,
write beside, and honour.
