MAURI ORA MAURI TAU // Daily Dance of Personal Practice

I could say lots of amazing things but the truth is, this is here to keep us steady.

Each morning you are able to join from where you are at, and spend some time with Open Floor as our practice. 

*** Please note if we go back to level two in Wellington the sessions will change time to 630-730am, I understand this may not work for everyone but my daughters will need my attention to help them adjust to getting out of bed again!! 

**** Tuesday the 7th September session will start at 830 - 930 this week only

What the sessions will look like;

A moment to write with or without the writing prompt provided

Introduction to a core movement resource to anchor us

Musical soundscape to move, dance, create, eat breakfast, walk the dog, make love...drink your coffee and be with you.

A moment at the end to write.

A break out room will be provided for those who which to connect after the dance.

Mauri Tau / Mauri Ora

Write/dance/create/dance/write - This is a structure that I return to often. 

It gives me enough time to notice my daily grind, gives me time to create and play, 

gives me time to be with my body to move and include what is there ( MAURI ORA )

It gives me time to centre down before I go up and out to my world.

Allowing me to start the day at a place of being tau, settled nervous system and not over-activated ( MAURI TAU )

You can come to each class or jump on when it feels right.

You can have screens on or off ( I only ask for a screen on moment when you arrive so I know who you are x )

Recieve from this space what you need, right where you are. 

I would write more, but I don't think anyone needs any more input. 

We all have enough of what we need, let's spend some dedicated time with it.
