About the Event

MANAHAU EMBODIED MOVEMENT

The Open Floor Curriculum offers us a deeper understanding of our Four Dimensions of Embodiment.

This curriculum has been created by the life work of our Embodiment teachers worldwide. It holds a wealth of knowledge and gifts to us an understanding of the sacred weaving, of your unique divinity.

Divine by design whanau!!

The Four Dimensions of Embodiment

Physical Body - Sensate awareness.

The core healing of Open Floor is to literally inhabit our bodies. The other embodiments are equally important, but hard to claim until sensate awareness has been opened, integrated, and stabilized.  In other words if we can't feel our bodies, it is unlikely that we can experience a full emotional life or know how our thoughts drive our actions.

Emotional Body - Emotional Intelligence

Emotional intelligence refers to being wise, resilient, creative, and at home in relation to our emotions and others'. Emotional embodiment is our capacity to feel emotion and stay present in all four domains of relationship.

Mind Body - Mindfulness and imagination, creative Cognition.

The embodied mind contribution is to be open, awake, creative, intuitive, insightful, articulate and discerning.

An embodied mind is open to the vast landscape of knowledge, intuition, and imagination while reaining connected to body and heart.

Soul Body - Awake to Essence, Spirit, Unbounded Presence

The embodied soul is unification with something that lies within us and beyond us, experiencing life as meaning full, feeling our place in the larger field.

The dimensions are part of our 4 x 4 weave that brings in our Hungers; Hunger for Solitude, Connection, Belonging and Spirit.

We journey together to explore each dimension as we move toward the Spring Equinox.

Think of this journey as a time to spring clean the information that you have been gathering in this body, to dust in the corners, to clean the windows enabling you to see more clearly yourself in this world.

What to expect.

Depth of discovery with self.

Understanding of the dimension of your embodiment

A space to move, create, express and experience yourself.

Movement as mihi.

Soundscaping.

Spring ritual.

This is our wānanga space, within these classes,

we rest deeper into ourselves, no ripping ourselves apart,

but tending to this human manifestation, learning new ways,

resourcing ourself with new language and carving a pathway of good living.

For all those who are curious about Open Floor or Embodiment, this is the first part of the weave.
