10 weeks to creatively explore the Core Movement Resources of Open Floor.

Pause - a place in time that takes you out of time.

Ground - find your footing, your connection to this land, Mauri Tū, stand steady.

Centre - the place within all of us, we can call home.

Towards & Away - how do I know what to move towards, or away from? the muscle of intuition.

Expand & Contract - finding our edge.

Release - making the container we are less contained.

Vector - How do I get from here to there? consciously

Dissolve - softening the edges to the big breath of life.

Spatial Awareness - how do I meet the world, and how does the world meet me?

Activate & Settle - To find strength in full activation and to learn how to settle our system. The dance of our nervous system.

The process write / dance / create / dance / write.

write - we begin by writing to opening our attention to what is present. 

dance - we enter our session using movement and guidance towards the CMR

create - we explore with a creative medium the CMR, no limits here 

dance - discover how the body responds 

write - we settle by writing

I will guide you through this process with the writing prompts, the soundscape, and meditations.

All levels of creative curiosity welcome, from seasoned 'Artist' to 'I am not an artist' and anyone in between.

The only requirement is a good internet connection.

One hour each week, dedicated to dancing and exploring your creativity.

Accountability to your practice.

Weekly soundscape to dance to how you wish, and if your want to continue the exploration during the week.

The same humans each time, no unexpected.

The structure will stay the same, the questions and music will change but we will

write / dance / create / dance / write.

Yes, it is a commitment, Yes, you are worth it and it's just one hour a week!

For these sessions please bring the art material you wish to use,

and a journal and pen.

Once you have registered and paid you will receive a zoom id. This ZOOM id will be the same each week. 

If you are new to the online realm of zoom, please reach out and I will take you through it.

It can be quite simple once you get the hang of it.
